THE CENTRE FOR THE PATIENT’S RIGHTS AND THE RIGHT TO HEALTH is a non-profit Voluntary Association, recorded in the Register of the Region Veneto (L.R. 40/93), Nr. VR156.

All the operators carry out their activities totally free. In spite of this, the expensiveness for the management of the several activities (telephone, stationery expenses, condominium expenses, etc.) force us to ask the Members’ contribution.

The Centre deals with, above all, the protection of the citizens’ rights in the sanitary field, by using, as preferential instruments:

·         the spreading of the information about the access to the health services from the citizens 

·         the assistance for the sanitary bureaucratic files

·         the (free) legal advise by a lawyer who is a specialist in Sanitary Law.

·         the covered legal advise (for Members only)

·         the assistance for the civil action for compensation in damages, according to the law 210/92, caused by blood transfusion or vaccination

·         the assistance for the controversies for the request, by the Institutions, to the patient’s relations to pay the charge in the psychiatric RSA (Welfare Health Homes)

·         the assistance for the civil action for refusal of discharging from hospital non self-sufficient chronic diseased elderly people

20 Euro for the Ordinary Members

more than 20 Euro for the Financing Members.

 

The contributions up to 1500 Euro can be deducted from the IRPEF (Personal Income Tax) taxable income.
